About us

Tribblaton Sound is more than just a recording studio — it’s a creative space built by musicians, for musicians. Located inside The Epic in Grand Prairie, TX, our studio offers a fully soundproof live room, top-tier gear, and the legendary Neve 5088 analog console — all designed to deliver professional, inspiring results for every session.

The studio is co-led by David Tribble, a Fort Worth-based singer-songwriter originally from Texarkana. David brings years of experience as a performing artist and songwriter in the Americana, Folk, and Indie scenes. His journey began in college and the church house, where he taught himself guitar and started crafting heartfelt songs rooted in grace and truth. A former middle school science teacher and coach, David eventually stepped away from the classroom to pursue music full-time. His latest album, Sunset Sunrise, was recorded right here at Tribblaton Sound.

Running the engineering and mixing side of the studio is Jake Kerley, an experienced audio engineer with over 15 years in the industry. A Fort Worth native, Jake has worked extensively in the Texas area and the UK, lending his talents to a wide range of artists and genres. As both a session and live keyboardist/organist, he brings a deep musicality to every session — along with a lifelong passion for sound and storytelling.
